Google officially unveiled Googlebook, a new laptop category built from the ground up for Gemini Intelligence, with the first devices arriving this fall from Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo. Each will feature a “Magic Pointer” that lets you quickly ask Gemini and take action based on what’s on screen, plus tight integration with Android phones — including casting mobile apps to the bigger screen.

Android Auto is getting a Material 3 Expressive redesign with expressive fonts, smooth animations, wallpapers, and widget support. Supported cars from BMW, Ford, Genesis, Hyundai, Kia, and others are getting HD video at 60 FPS, and several brands including BMW and Mercedes-Benz are getting spatial sound with Dolby Atmos.
